Today, I have a few photos of a scenic area of Grand Manan. These were taken at the Hole In The Wall, a hiking trail that leads to a cliff that looks like a wall with a hole in it! Pretty cool to check out! We’ve gone a few times as its a nice trail. It’s part of a campground, so you must pay the day pass rate of $2/person! Well worth the cost!
This time I’m highlighting some photos from Seal Cove, which is a historic fishing village and a highlight of Grand Manan Island! I’ve included some fishing boats that were docked at the pier in Seal Cove as well…
Sunsets are amazing on Grand Manan Island! The best place to catch them is at the Long Eddy Lighthouse, which is found on the northern end of the island. I have so many awesome pics from this area of the island! Here’s three of them:
This week I’m highlighting a small beach on Grand Manan Island called Pettes Cove. It’s a cute little beach with lots of small rocks…I’ve collected quite a few in my time! 🙂
It also has great views of the Ferry, fishing weirs and of course, the Swallowtail Lighthouse!
Here’s a couple of photos…ok, three of them!
Well, keeping with the topic of Grand Manan, today I’m including two photos of the sunrise on Grand Manan. We went for a long weekend visit last September to view some properties and on the day we left, we had to be at the Ferry really early, so I shot some photos while waiting for the family.
It’s such a scenic place to visit!
This week I’m highlighting another photo of the Swallowtail Lighthouse on Grand Manan Island. It’s from farther away and shows the peninsula that the lighthouse is found on.
We love walking down the trail to get there and climbing rocks, etc. There are also benches where you can sit and watch the ferry, fishing boats or kayakers go by! That’s the life!
One of my favourite places, or quite possibly my FAVE place is Grand Manan Island in New Brunswick! I don’t know why, it’s quiet and small and no shopping malls! 🙂 But I love it so!
When we’re here we do a lot of hiking and I take a lot of photos..maybe that’s what the attraction is… It’s pretty scenic for sure!
Anyway, today I’m highlighting the Swallowtail Lighthouse. It’s the most photographed lighthouse! Not sure if that’s in Canada or in the world, but it sure is one of my favourite places to go when I’m on the Island!
Here’s my photo:
